Way back before the turn of the century, I started my journey down the web programming road. I began with Java but quickly settled into the LAMP stack world. PHP and MySQL were installed on most Linux based servers back then and free to use, unlike Visual Basic, C++ and Java. Over the years I have created many great LAMP stack applications but, most have disappeared over time. Thankfully a few have been happily chugging along doing their jobs for many years.
After the world shut down, life changed a lot for me. I stopped developing apps and dropped back to maintaining the ones that managed to live on. Now with the advancement of AI and other rapid changes in the world of web programming, and app distribution, I have decided to ease back in and learn about new technologies.
Recently, I have been exploring the ability to build web based apps that can be installed on almost any device.
